Hemant has led the recent $30M round in Mascoma, a cellulosic ethanol developer. PR here. My colleague Juergen Habichler has written a good post on this. Hemant is an up-and-coming "young gun" in the Boston market (as per this Mass HighTech article); he is also involved with Advanced Electron Beams, one of our companies, alongside Jeff Fagnan.
